Keynote Speaker:   Jhenah Telyndru

The God and Goddesses of the Ancient Celts

Location: Workshop Area- 4pm

with Jhenah Telyndru

Many modern Pagans draw spiritual inspiration from the ancient Celts, but what do we really know about pre-Christian Celtic religions and the deities they worshiped? How can we best honor our spiritual forebears while also developing personal relationships with the Celtic Gods themselves?  How important is it to have “Celtic” blood in order to practice a form of Celtic Paganism?  Join us in exploring these and other questions as we take a whirlwind tour through history, archaeology, mythology, and folk practices in a quest to understand the nature of Celtic divinities through and understanding of their cultural origin.

The Elements of Magical Herbalism

Location: Workshop Area- 11am

with Jhenah Telyndru

The use of herbs in magic is a potent art found in ancient and indigenous traditions around the world, an art which is still in active practices today. Come learn how plants ca be powerful allies in our quest for change, self-mastery, and transformation.  We will learn the folkloric properties of some commonly used herbs, discuss the moon’s influence on plant growth and harvesting, discover how to create herbal talismans, and explore ways to use magical herbalism in our everyday lives.  We will work directly with herbs as we learn how to identify their energy signatures and elemental correspondences for ourselves.
