 The Labyrinth: The Serpent Path

with Tracy Andryc

Within our bodies lie 7 major energy centers, the chakras. In many traditions, our body’s vital energy is seen as moving among these centers. Kundalini, which rests in the root chakra, is often represented by a cobra, unwinding and rising up, connecting, cleansing, and opening our pathways as it comes into its full power. The labyrinth can be utilized to connect more consciously and open our chakra pathways. Learn how to walk the labyrinth to energize and balance the chakras.

Bio: Tracy Andryc has been sharing her love of the labyrinth since her first walk on its path in 1998. She sees the labyrinth as a universal tool that can be used in a magical/spiritual context, regardless of your religious path. She takes a holistic approach to her labyrinth work by incorporating other modalities such as Reiki, crystal grids/healing, breath work, sound and sacred dance. For over a decade she has facilitated workshops and rituals on the labyrinth and other topics at venues throughout New England. Tracy is a Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator, Certified Birth Doula, Reiki Master, Crystal Healing Practitioner, and the founder of One Path Labyrinth Ventures. She is available for facilitated walks, workshops and rituals, Reiki and Crystal Healing sessions and classes, and labyrinth building consultation.

What Makes You Rock

with Terry Milton

There will be a short meditation to help learn to attune to the energy of stones and crystals. This workshop will encourage each participant to select a stone or two for a mini Stone Reading … It is hoped that this will give each participant a little insight into some of the many ways in which YOU ROCK!

Bio: Terry Milton, aka “The Stone Lady” has been active in the psychic field for over 40 years. She has studied many traditional and unconventional ‘tools of the trade,’ including Palmistry, Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot, and is the creator of “Stone Readings” — a method of attuning to people through the stones and crystals with which they are closely aligned. There are uncanny similarities between “Mother Nature” and “Human Nature,” and people tend to be drawn to stones that have a personality, history, or energy similar to their own. Because “The Stone Lady” understands the stones, she is able to attune to you with authentic clarity.

Connecting Circles Workshop

with Chris Fielding

Science, religion, and spirituality are all attempts at discovery he truth hidden behind the curtain of the Divine. How can we expand our own spiritual discoveries by looking at the beliefs and practices of other spiritualities around us? This program begins to answer that question by looking at the many commonalities among the different belief systems, and attempts to connect Wicca and Paganism to the worlds of science and religion.

Chris Fielding is a writer, teacher, and witch. He  was the co-host of Everyday Paranormal (a pagan-perspective radio show), the co-editor of the ARA Quarterly for the Temple of Ara in New York City, and the writer of Connecting Circles (a column about the spiritual connections between belief systems). He is an Elder Priest and the co-founder of The Amber Raven Circle, an eclectic coven in the Sakonnet Bay area.  He lives in Rhode Island with his wife and son, three cats, a dog, and a slightly confused fish.

The Red Tent

with Nan Rogers & Katrina Graham

The worldwide Women’s Red Tent movement is a grassroots phenomenon inspired by Anita Diamant’s book “The Red Tent” which describes the world of a fictional pre-biblical nomadic people whose women lived in their own community.  Inside their red tent they bled, healed, birthed, died, and learned together.  In 2007, women’s visionary ALisa Starkweather, recognizing the dire need for women to gather together in a space where our Ways as nurturers, caregivers, creators, artists, leaders, warriors and healers can be honored, created the Red Tent Temple movement wherein women, female-identifying individuals, and mature teens at all ages, life stages, ethnicities, faiths, sexual orientations, and abilities gather in Safe, Woman-Centered Space to connect and reclaim the gifts of being together in community. (The Hudson, MA Tent Goddesses have also created an All-Genders Tent in which to share these gifts with our extended communities!)
The physical Red Tent space is beautiful, warm, nurturing, restorative, and sometimes even transformative. We Share Our Stories, practice Deep Listening, exchange Wisdom and laughs and maybe some tears, enjoy food, share Gifts and Needs, create new connections with ourselves and others, and emerge re-energized and inspired.  Perhaps you will be inspired to begin your own Temple!
Please join us for some Tent Time and discover how very much we all have in common.

Aurora is passionate about bringing communities together in Safe Space; she founded the secular Hudson MA Red Tent in 2011 and has been facilitating it ever since at her UU church.  She is very active in her Mooncircle Covenant Group, a CUUPS chapter.  When she isn’t creating surface designs in the Product Development department of a major corporation — or hanging out with her hubby and their four ginger tabbies — she can be found belly dancing, cooking, or creating artwork for her fledgling business, Studio Aurora Designs.  Her art and dance are inspired by the Divine Feminine.
